HanfuPortrait help

Frequently asked questions

A quick guide to creating, downloading and paying for HanfuPortrait portraits.

Creating a portrait

How do I create a portrait from a selfie?

Upload one clear selfie, choose a style, and start creating. A front-facing photo with even light and visible facial features usually gives the strongest identity reference.

Do I need a professional photo?

No. A clear phone selfie is enough. Avoid blur, sunglasses, masks and hair covering the eyes or facial outline.

Can I try more than one style?

Yes. Each new account includes 3 free creations, so you can compare Hanfu, qipao and other Chinese-inspired styles before buying more credits.

Privacy and downloads

Can I download or share my portrait?

Yes. When your portrait is ready, you can download it or create a share link from the result view.

What photos should I upload?

Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload identity documents, private images or another person’s photo without permission.

Does the free result include a watermark?

Free exports may include a subtle HanfuPortrait watermark. Paid entitlements can export a clean portrait according to the current product terms.

Credits and payment

How much does HanfuPortrait cost?

Each account includes 3 free creations. The current one-time portrait pack provides 10 credits for $4.99 USD, with no subscription and no expiry. The final amount and applicable tax are shown at checkout.

Do purchased credits expire?

No. Purchased portrait credits do not expire under the current offer.

Why is the checkout in another language or currency?

Creem localizes the checkout interface and may show local payment or foreign-exchange details based on your location. The HanfuPortrait website currently uses USD as its base display currency; the final amount is shown by Creem before payment.
